The Hinds County School District is pleased to announce that Online Student Registration for the 2026–2027 school year will open on May 4, 2026. As part of our continued efforts to improve efficiency and accessibility for families, HCSD will utilize the ActiveParent Portal for all student registration. This secure platform allows parents and guardians to complete registration online while also providing access to student grades and attendance information. Parents and guardians are encouraged to prepare in advance to ensure a smooth registration process.

How to Get Started:
1. Visit the ActiveParent Portal

2. Log in to your existing account or create a new account

3. Complete the online registration for your student(s)
