Terry, MS - Hinds County School District proudly congratulates Dr. Kristin N. Brown, Assistant Principal at Terry High School, on her selection to the 2026-2027 PREPS Collaborating to Empower Others (CEO) Leadership Academy.

The PREPS CEO Leadership Academy is a yearlong professional learning program designed to strengthen the leadership capacity of practicing K-12 administrators across Mississippi. Through training focused on school culture, data analysis, instructional leadership, and organizational effectiveness, participants gain valuable knowledge and skills to support student success and school improvement.

The academy also provides participants with opportunities to engage in networking, collaboration, and mentorship with educational leaders from across the state. Program components include a 360-degree leadership evaluation, leadership goal setting, and research-based professional learning aligned with the Professional Standards for Educational Leaders (PSEL).

Dr. Brown’s selection reflects her commitment to continuous professional growth and educational excellence. As Assistant Principal of Terry High School, she plays an important role in supporting students, staff, and families while helping foster a positive learning environment. Throughout the 2026-2027 school year, Dr. Brown will join a cohort of school leaders from across Mississippi as they participate in leadership development experiences designed to enhance their effectiveness as educational leaders.
