Mr. Hodge

Zackery Hodge is honored to serve as the new principal (Lead Learner) of Bolton-Edwards Elementary/Middle School—a place close to his heart and rooted in the communities that helped shape him. A proud product of Hinds County Public Schools and a graduate of Jackson State University, Mr. Hodge brings with him over 15 years of experience in education. He has served as a classroom teacher, instructional coach, assistant principal, principal, adjunct professor, and, most recently, a Program Implementation Manager for federal programs. Throughout his career, he has remained committed to student achievement and uplifting educators around him. Leading in a district that has invested in his journey is a full-circle moment for him. He is excited to partner with students, families, staff, and community members using the remarkable building blocks left to him by former principal Mrs. Lashurn Williams, to build something culturally and instructionally exceptional at Bolton-Edwards.
