Terry High School's ACT Code is 251-375

The ACT is an achievement-based test that measures the skills and knowledge a student has developed while taking high school courses and is used to predict college readiness.  The ACT is the most widely used test for college admissions and the Mississippi Legislature pays for students to take the test one time during the spring of their junior year.  Many students take the ACT multiple times in order to achieve the highest score possible, because higher scores open up additional scholarship opportunities for students and the possibility of participating in special college courses, activities, and programs.

While the ACT predicts the likelihood that students will be successful in credit-bearing, first year college courses without needing remediation, it does not account for work-ethic— it’s still really important to work hard & do your best to be successful!
