• Middle School Point System

    Students can receive up to 25 points each day based on attendance and dress code compliance, completion of academic assignments, and adherence to the school/classroom rules and directives from school staff.

    Attendance/Dress Code: point is given upon entrance to the school each day

    Desired Goal:  Student arrives on time and remains at school for the entire school day and is in full compliance with the school dress code. Belt must be worn. No jewelry or other disallowable items are brought in building.

    Student is tardy (unexcused) or is dismissed before the school day ends (unexcused) and/or the student is not in compliance with the school dress code.

        4 classes x 6 points per class = 24 points plus 1 point for attendance/dress code = 25 points maximum per day

    Academics: points are given in each class period by the teacher

    Desired Goal:  Student completes given assignments with 80% accuracy or above.

    Student completes given assignments with 65% - 79% accuracy.

    Student completes given assignment with less than 65% accuracy.

    0

    Student does not complete the assignment. (May be assigned to an after-school make-up session.)

    Behavior: points are given in each class period by the teacher

    Desired Goal:  Student follows all school and classroom rules and is not corrected by school staff.

    Student is warned about behavior and corrected by the school staff.

    Student receives last warning and is corrected by the school staff.
