Mrs. Bethany Stubblefield

My name is Bethany Stubblefield and this is my 18th year in education! I spent the first 12 years in the classroom teaching English/Language Arts, Math, and Science/Social Studies.

I graduated from Mississippi State University with my bachelor’s degree in elementary education. I received my National Board Certification in 2007 and completed my Master’s Degree at Mississippi College in 2011. I began my career at Raymond Elementary in 2002 and loved my six years there. After three years in another district, I returned to Hinds County School District where I taught 5th grade science and language arts at GRI.  I was named Gary Road Intermediate School Teacher of the Year and then Hinds County School District Teacher of the Year for 2014.  For two years, I served as an academic interventionist.

As the GRI Librarian, I am excited about what we have in store for us this year! This is my fourth year as the librarian. I am thoroughly excited about what the year holds!
