• Mr. Wilson         A native of Lubbock, Texas, Mr. Wilson and his family moved to Mississippi in 2017.  As a percussionist, he loved band and orchestra in junior high and high school, and he earned his Bachelor's Degree in All-Level Music Education from Texas Tech University in 2001.  He has taught kindergarten through high school band and music classes throughout his career, and he enjoys making custom percussion equipment.  His wife, Dr. Renee Wilson is also a band and choir teacher.  She completed her PhD at Texas Tech in 2016, and she is now an Assistant Professor of Music Education at Mississippi College.  

            In his spare time, Mr. Wilson serves as a registered leader for his son's Trail Life U.S.A. troop, and he is very active as the Safety Team Leader at his church.  He enjoys camping, hunting, and fishing with his family and friends.  His favorite music genres are "classical" (Romantic Era), classic rock, country & western, and motion picture soundtracks.  Some of his favorite composers include Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky, Igor Stravinkski, Ottorino Respighi, Ludwig von Beethoven, Samuel Barber, Aaron Copland, John Williams, Jerry Goldsmith, John Barry, Hans Zimmer, and James Horner.  He is grateful for the opportunity to share his love of music with his students.
