It is with great honor and excitement that I introduce myself, Markeeta Carson, as the Assistant Principal at Gary Road Elementary School. My passion for education and supporting the success of all students has been shaped through my experience as an elementary teacher and interventionist in the Hinds County School District. In each of my roles, I have sought to ensure the success of each student and the school, by providing the best instructional opportunities and support possible. Similarly, it is my number one priority at GRE to ensure that every student receives the most, well-rounded education possible. I am looking forward to a GREat school year!
