Mrs. Juanita Johnson

Greetings RES Pre-K Parents,

My name is Juanita Johnson and I am your child’s Pre-K teacher here at Raymond Elementary School. I am an Early Childhood Certified Teacher in the State of Mississippi. I hold a Bachelors’ Degree in Child Care & Family Education from Jackson State University and

Masters’ Degree in Early Childhood from Capella University. I am currently pursuing my doctorate in Educational Administration at The University of Southern Mississippi. As you can see, educating young learners is my passion. I was also honored to sit on the State Early Childhood Advisory Council for Governor Phil Bryant in 2015 and 2016.

I am an enthusiastic educator with a passion and hands-on experience in imparting knowledge to young children. I am also well versed in the responsibilities required when teaching young children

how to read. It brings joy to my heart to see them reach their goals! I have one assistant. Her name is Ms. Linda Moore. She is also excited to be working with your children this year. On a personal note, I live in Clinton with my husband of 23 years and our children. I am looking forward to an AWESOME school year with you and your child in Pre-K here at RES!
