My name is Tancia Boone.  I am very excited  to be your child’s Algebra I teacher.  This is my 14th year of teaching and my third year at Raymond High School.  Yay!   I am a graduate of the University of Mississippi (Undergraduate, Math Ed. ) and Jackson State University (Graduate, Teaching Math).   Teaching mathematics is my passion.  It is my commitment to make sure all students pass the Mississippi Academic Assessment in Algebra 1.  I believe it is important for parents and schools to work together and share responsibility for the student’s success.  Also, it is important for students to know that teachers and parents are working together to support their learning.  With your support, I know this year will be a great success!
