Mr. Kofi C. Woodall, Ed.S.

Welcome  3rd Graders!!!

Hello Parents!! My name is Kofi Woodall, and I am currently entering into my 17th year as a teacher.  During my tenure as an educator, I have been selected as the Teacher of the Year on two occasions.  In addition, I graduated from Jackson State University with a Bachleor and Master's Degree in Elementary Education and a Specialist Degree in Educational Leadership at Mississippi College.

The 2017-18 school year was my first year in the Hinds County School District.  This past year our students made tremendous strides every year. Our 3rd graders had a 100% percent passing rate on the MAAP state assessment in 2018. Furthermore, our students had the highest proficiency in 3rd grade in the Hinds County School District. From that point, each class has continued to achieve to the next level. My primary goal is to educate, motivate, and empower our students to maximize their potential.  As an educator, its  imperative for students to be engaged in the learning process each and everyday.

Research has shown when parents are involved with students, kids tend to have higher grades in school, better social skills, and improved behavior. I look forward to working collaboratively with each of you to ensure the success of our students, despite the pandemic facing our nation. Let's have a great 2020-2021 school year!!!
