    We will be competing at Meridian High School Saturday, February 23, 2019 in the regional powerlifting meet. We will leave the school at 7:30 am. Weigh-ins begin at 9:30 am and the meet begins at 11:30 am.

    - This program believes in Static and Dynamic stretching with a emphasis on dynamic movements. 
    - This program believes that the foundation is built on core muscles. These muscles include abdominal, back, hip (adductors {inside leg} and abductors {outside hip}), and glutial. These muscles are important to proper lifting techniques that protect the body and aid the kenetic chains alignment. 
    -This program believes that powerlifting is based on the Specific Adaptations to Imposed Demand principle (SAID - the body adapts to the stimulus placed on it) which requires Progressive Overload to build strength as the body adapts. WE WILL REQUIRE PURPOSEFUL STRUGGLE!
    - This program follows the Prilepin's model for programming percentages, reps, and sets. This model has been proven in eastern countries that produce some of the strongest athletes in the world.
