    The Assistant Principal of the Year is selected based upon NASSP national award winner criteria which include: collaborative leadership; knowledge and practice in the areas of curriculum, instruction, and assessment; and personalization.

    The Principal of the Year is selected based upon both his or her school"s academic performance and their  ability to inspire instructors, exemplary leadership capabilities, and community involvement.

    Teacher of the Year
    School Nominations are due October 23rd and Teacher Packets due November 6th. 
     
    The Teacher of the Year is selected based on outstanding performance which includes accomplishments in education, community involvement, and best teaching practices.
     
    The district overall winner will compete for the Mississippi Statewide Teacher of the Year.

    Nominations are due December 7th and Parent Packets due November 17th.
     
    The Parent of the Year is selected based on involvement in service-oriented activities.
