  • This summer, in order to continue the progress your child has made reading, Byram Middle School is asking 6th, 7th and 8th grade students to avoid summer reading loss. Because we want our students to have the opportunity to continue developing their literacy skills, we are allowing them the opportunity to choose their summer reading experience. We all know reading is crucial for developing language skills, so we are requiring students to read at least ONE book over the summer. Students may choose any book, fiction or narrative nonfiction. Book choices should be appropriate for the grade level and at least 100 pages in lengthTake advantage of this opportunity and choose something GREAT!
