Hello! My name is Morgan Hillman, and I am excited to begin another year at Terry High School. 

Theatre has always been a huge part of my life. I started acting in Kindergarten. I remember my first speaking role onstage at the age of 5. My one and only line which sparked the love I have for the stage was, "His mother?" I remember practicing that line in front of everyone I knew because I wanted it to be perfect. I could never know at that age just how far those two little words would take me.

I am an alumni of Terry, so I am very excited to be back in the halls! During my time at Terry, I was Vice President of the Drama Club, a varsity cheerleader, the newspaper editor, a student council member, a cross-country runner, and more. So, you could say I have a lot of love for Terry High School! After graduating from Terry, I attended Belhaven University in Jackson to major in Theatre with an emphasis in Performance. While at Belhaven, I was involved in many productions from onstage to behind the scenes. I performed in several plays, including The God Committee, 'night Mother, and even in the world premier of Ghost Stories of Mississippi. For my portrayal of Jessie in 'night Mother, I was nominated for Best Actress in the department. I was the Stage Manager of The 39 Steps and I directed several one act plays. I also had the opportunity to be the Hair and Makeup Designer for Shrek the Musical in which I won an award for Best Student Designer. During my time at Belhaven, I was inducted into Alpha Psi Omega Theatre Honor Society of which I am still an active member. 

I am excited to bring my skills and experience to revamp the Theatre program at Terry! I hope to see you all at future shows!!
