    Notice to parents as required by the Every Student Succeeds Act

    On December 10, 2015 the Every Student Succeeds Act was signed into law by President Obama. The Every Student Succeeds Act reauthorized the Elementary and Secondary Education Act, the previous version of the law was referred to as the No Child Left Behind Act (NCLB).

    The Elementary and Secondary Education Act requires that all states, school districts, and schools to provide annual report cards to parents and communities.  Each report card contains data about state assessments, attendance and graduation rates, and information about "highly qualified" teachers.

    Congratulations to our lucky winner Kennedy Hunter!  She won a PS 5 from our PTO by purchasing tickets in our Ranger Raffle!!!!!





    Congratulations to Raymond Elementary's 2021-2022 Teacher of the Year, Mrs. Kendra McIntyre.  Mrs. McIntyre is our 5th grade science teacher and has been teaching at RES since 2008.  Congratulations Mrs. McIntyre and thank you for all you do!



    Congrats to our October Students of the Month Finley Harrell, Elizabeth Smith, and Caiden Willis!!


    Today was nothing but treats!  No tricks at RES!  Thank you so much to PTO, Hinds County Sheriff Officers and the Hinds Community College Softball and Baseball team for being a part of our RES Trunk or Treat!


    Thursday's theme was "No Cap!  We're Drug Free!"  We also did pink out to support breast cancer awareness.


    Today was Western Day.  Our Little Rangers are ready to give drugs the BOOT!


    We're saying Peace Out to Drugs today! Stay tuned for tomorrow....it's Western Day.  We will give drugs the boot!
