A lover of English literature, I began my true love of English in Dr. Lares' English Literature class at the University of Southern Misssissippi, where I successfully graduated with a B.A. in English. I began my teaching career at Pearl High School (2 years) and on to Provine High School (7 years). While serving at Provine High, I decided to pursue a Masters in Education at Belhaven College (now Belhaven University) and on to a Specialist in Educational Leadership at Mississippi College. Throughout my endeavor to further my education, I continued to serve students at Raymond High School (1 year), Canton High School (3 years), and I am now happily serving Terry High School (7 years). I want to thank all my students, parents and colleagues in advance for a very successful year. I am also your 2018-2019 Terry High School's "Teacher of the Year."
