Community Information

One of the larger districts in Mississippi, the Hinds County School District encompasses 625 square miles and enrolls over 6,600 students in nine schools throughout the communities of Bolton, Byram, Edwards, Raymond, Terry and Utica.

Hinds Community College's main campus is located in Raymond.  The college also has a large branch in Utica. The Utica campus also serves as home to the Hinds Agricultural High School (Hinds AHS) which operates as an independent high school (grades 9-12) under the direction of Hinds Community College.
